Thanks for this feature v22!
James Bell is a multi-disciplinary artist specialising in abstract painting, conceptual art, and film. Their work draws inspiration from their environment and explores themes of mental health, queer identity, and social commentary.
James is based at our V22 Stoke Newington building in North East London. They grew up in the area and was one of the first cohorts of artists to move into the building. James’ portrait was taken by London-based photographer Maria Tzili.

Winter Salon at Candid Arts trust has been extended for a week! The gallery will be open in the evenings from 5pm to 9pm Tuesday - Friday, and then 12-6pm on the weekend. My painting ‘Retrograde’ is on display.
