My Happy Cocks (2024) series of watercolour postcards presented playful, bold depictions of phallic forms in vivid colours. I combined humour with abstraction, using contrasting palettes and textured backgrounds to create a lively visual rhythm. Bright hues—pinks, greens and blues—together with fluid lines and quirky shapes, lent the works a light-hearted, whimsical quality. The interplay between simple outlines and more expressive brushstrokes introduced depth, encouraging viewers to find joy and humour in a subject often considered taboo. Overall, the series embraced a sense of cheekiness with vibrant, unapologetic energy.
